On July 8, before the notary Albertini, Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente acquired 70% of the shares of IAM – Igiene Ambientale Management Srl, based in the Republic of San Marino, from the previous owners Mattia Marinelli and Mirkare Manzi. After the signing, the company leadership met with the authorities of the Republic of San Marino to present the new corporate structure.

IAM is a company that employs 30 people and holds the license for one of the two authorized storage centers currently serving the artisanal and industrial sectors of San Marino. The center handles the volumetric reduction and storage of special waste (hazardous and non-hazardous). Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente is a cooperative that brings together 180 companies. With its transportation and urban hygiene services, it operates in 12 Italian regions and the Republic of San Marino, generating a production value of over 220 million euros.

“This operation fits perfectly into our industrial development plan aimed at diversifying and expanding our activities,” emphasizes the president of Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente, Lucilla Fabrizzi. “IAM is a solid entity, rooted in the economic fabric of San Marino and with excellent relations within the Italian territory: for our cooperative, this acquisition is a significant milestone.”

The new board of directors of IAM, in addition to Manzi, includes Francesco Agostini, who holds the position of president, and Gianluigi Vicari, representing Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente.

“We have long known IAM’s structural solidity, its efficiency, and its ability to provide excellent service to the Republic’s territory,” highlights the new president, Francesco Agostini. “The main objective of this new phase will be to leverage these strengths to consolidate the structure and drive growth, working in close synergy with Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente.”

“This is a very important turning point for IAM,” emphasized Manzi, who remained with the company with a minority stake and the role of CEO. “We had been looking for a structured industrial partner like Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente for some time to provide the company with the necessary stability for growth in both qualitative and quantitative terms.”
