Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente is committed to protecting the environment by doing everything possible to reduce its impact in terms of emissions, water consumption and energy consumption, and waste production.
Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente is certified UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 and has adopted the Quality, Environment and HACCP Policy.
Self-Produced Energy
Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente owns several photovoltaic systems installed at the facilities in Forlì (via Golfarelli), Ravenna (via Magnani) and Riccione (via Maranello).
Total energy self-produced annually 142.5 MWh
Equivalent to 41 tons of CO2 saved (equivalent to 2,700 trees planted).
Water Resource Management
We support a culture of water conservation and periodically inform stakeholders about practices that promote more sustainable use of water resources.
To actively contribute to water conservation, a system has been installed at the vehicle washing facility at the via Magnani site in Ravenna that ensures the recycling of 85% of the water used in the washing process.
Waste
We promote sustainable waste management by collaborating with public entities and local communities to increase separate collection and recycling, supporting citizens in adopting best practices.
Through affiliated companies, we support the implementation of advanced technologies for material treatment and recovery, promoting the circular economy.
Emissions
Every year, Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente is committed to replacing its most polluting vehicles with vehicles with reduced environmental impact.
Today, over 70% of its vehicles are Euro 6 or higher.
RaccogliAmo Project
RaccogliAMO® – Every Waste is an Opportunity is a project that aims to spread and consolidate the culture of separate waste collection in the cities of Romagna.
It targets children and young people in primary schools and explains the correct practices for collecting and disposing of waste according to material type: paper, plastic and aluminum, glass, organic and residual waste.
The initiative involves children and teachers in park and beach cleanup activities, leveraging the playful component and transforming sustainability into a fun experience.
The goal of RaccogliAMO® is to promote respect for the environment and natural heritage.
The entire initiative was conceived and is carried out every year thanks to the direct commitment of our staff.
