A few weeks ago, we began the process to certify our gender equality system according to the UNI PdR 125:2022 standard.

This is a voluntary certification that we chose to introduce to strengthen and integrate the provisions of SA8000 (Social Accountability), confirming our commitment to promoting a fair, inclusive, and respectful work environment. We believe that valuing diversity and ensuring equal opportunities for all people is an ethical duty as well as an essential element for growth and innovation.

The certification also requires the adoption of a Gender Equality Policy, approved by the Gender Equality Steering Committee and the cooperative’s Board of Directors, which we have published on the website at this link ciclatambiente.it/gender-equality/ and is freely available for consultation.

On the same page, there is also a form for reporting behaviors or situations that are not in line with our Gender Equality Policy. Reports may concern workplace harassment, gender discrimination, pay inequality, etc. The reporting forms on the site can also be used to provide the cooperative with suggestions or advice regarding gender equality and social responsibility.
