During the shareholders&#8217; meeting held on Saturday, June 28 in Ravenna, the cooperative&#8217;s <strong>board of directors was also renewed<\/strong>. <strong>Lucilla Fabrizzi was elected as the new President<\/strong>\u2014the first woman to lead the cooperative\u2014while Domenico Greco was confirmed as Vice President. <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;I wish to <strong>thank the members and the board of directors<\/strong> for the trust they have placed in me,&#8221; comments the newly appointed President <strong>Fabrizzi<\/strong>. &#8220;It is a great honor to assume this position, and I am aware that important challenges await us in the coming years. I sincerely thank the outgoing president and board members for the work they have done and the dedication they have shown over these years. I will approach this role with a <strong>sense of responsibility and a commitment to represent our organization in the best possible way<\/strong>, conveying the values that guide us, both within the cooperative and externally with our stakeholders.&#8221;   <\/p>\n<h4 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Financial Results<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Regarding the figures, <strong>production value<\/strong> reached <strong>\u20ac217.5 million<\/strong>, representing an increase of <strong>4.5%<\/strong> compared to 2023. These results supported profitability margins, with a <strong>gross margin<\/strong> of <strong>\u20ac7.8 million<\/strong> and a <strong>profit<\/strong> approved by the assembly of <strong>\u20ac716,000<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;The 2024 performance far exceeded our expectations,&#8221; stated <strong>Cesare Bagnari<\/strong>, Chief Executive Officer. &#8220;The municipal waste management services market was dynamic, and rates were also satisfactory. Most likely, after years of double-digit growth, 2025 will be a year of consolidation and portfolio defense.&#8221;  <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the <strong>financial level<\/strong>, the positive 2024 results enabled prudential provisions and further consolidation of <strong>net equity<\/strong>, which now exceeds <strong>\u20ac18.2 million<\/strong> (\u20ac17 million in 2023). Financial indicators are also positive, with <strong>Net Financial Position<\/strong> showing further improvement, now positive at <strong>\u20ac485,000<\/strong>, and <strong>EBITDA<\/strong> substantially stable at <strong>\u20ac4.5 million<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<h4 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Sector Performance<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Both the <strong>municipal waste management services market and the transportation sector are undergoing a phase of evolution<\/strong>, and after years of significant growth, Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente is seeking greater profitability for its members. &#8220;Our objective,&#8221; adds Bagnari, &#8220;is to <strong>improve the economic conditions of members by increasing the profitability<\/strong> of contracts. This applies both to the transportation sector, which has long been experiencing a phase of stagnation and margin erosion, and to the environmental sector, where non-uniform regulations and procurement systems make the market uncertain and competitive. Our current priority is to <strong>acquire only profitable and well-organized contracts<\/strong>, while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.&#8221;   <\/p>\n<h4 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>The Ecojanas Facility in Sardinia<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2024, the Ravenna-based cooperative launched important projects, including a <strong>waste storage, sorting, and treatment facility in Sardinia<\/strong>. The facility is managed by <strong>Ecojanas<\/strong>, a company in which Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente holds a 24% stake, and after beginning an initial phase of operations in the latter part of 2024, it consolidated operations in the first months of 2025. &#8220;Initially,&#8221; emphasizes the CEO, &#8220;we handled only the storage of <strong>glass<\/strong> waste, while with the facility upgrade and subsequent certifications, we also began receiving, pressing, packaging, bundling, and sending <strong>paper<\/strong> for recycling to industry consortia. In the coming months, we are awaiting authorizations for <strong>plastic<\/strong> treatment, and at that point the facility will be fully operational.&#8221;   <\/p>\n<h4 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Organizational Consolidation<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The long growth phase of Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente has also been supported by a series of organizational consolidation actions and qualitative service improvements. Among the latest achievements is obtaining the <strong>UNI PdR 125:2022 Gender Equality certification<\/strong>, which joins the many voluntary certifications already adopted, and the launch of the &#8220;<strong>Member Rating<\/strong>&#8221; project, a new system for monitoring financial statement indicators and compliance of member companies, used to make service allocation more transparent and objective. <\/p>\n<h4 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Board of Directors Renewed<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the assembly held on Saturday, June 28 in Ravenna, the <strong>renewal of corporate positions<\/strong> for the next three-year term also took place. The new board members are as follows. Representing Supporting Members: Lucilla Fabrizzi. Representing Financial Members: Cesare Bagnari (Consorzio Ciclat) and Marco Martelli (Forl\u00ec Ambiente). Representing Ravenna Area Members: Domenico Greco (Ital trasporti) and Riccardo Brandino (Co.Ra. Servizi). Representing Italy Area Members: Gianni Angeli (Il Solco) and Andrea Lamarucciola (Ecotrash). Representing Island Members: Giuseppe Romano (Roma Costruzioni) and Antonio Giuseppe Colombo (DLR Ambiente).      <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente is a <strong>cooperative<\/strong> based in Ravenna that operates primarily in the environmental services and transportation sector through the work of <strong>195 associated companies<\/strong>. Its services are present in <strong>10 Italian regions<\/strong> and the <strong>Republic of San Marino<\/strong>, covering a total of <strong>313 municipalities<\/strong> where it provides waste collection services, including door-to-door collection, and waste transportation.
