We Reaffirm Our Social Responsibility

The first months of the year are when Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente undergoes the Audits necessary to confirm Quality, Environment, and Safety certifications.

An intense period of work but also an opportunity to “look within” and try to understand whether what we do is heading in the right direction, review certain practices, and confirm others.

Being a cooperative operating throughout the national territory is a great responsibility, from which we do not shy away. Precisely for this reason, since 2015, we have chosen to integrate all Social Responsibility principles into our management, such as SA8000, Legality Rating, Excellence Certification…

Some of these principles—particularly those of the SA8000 international standard—define us and form the foundation of everything we do. We are committed to ensuring them within the cooperative and to promoting them among our suppliers and clients.

These are fundamental values that are often taken for granted but unfortunately are still not a reality for many people. We believe it is worth reaffirming them.

The core principles that guide our work

• We do not use or support child labor.
• At the start of the employment relationship, we do not require payment of fees, release of deposits, submission of original identity documents, or “blank” resignation commitments.
• We are committed to providing training, safety instructions, and the necessary equipment to ensure activities are carried out safely.
• We recognize freedom of union association.
• We are committed to preventing any discrimination based on gender, race, political, sexual, or religious orientation.
• We do not use or support the use of corporal punishment, mental or physical coercion, or verbal abuse.
• We comply with applicable laws, industry standards, and collective agreements.
• We apply the remuneration provided by the National Collective Labor Agreement to workers and are committed to paying it within established timeframes.
