New Operational Headquarters Inaugurated in Ravenna

On Saturday, November 27, in the presence of Ravenna Mayor Michele De Pascale, our cooperative inaugurated a new operational headquarters at via Magnani, 5 in Ravenna.

The facility, built with an investment of over 3 million euros, will become the hub of environmental operations that Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente manages in Ravenna together with Hera Spa and Consorzio Formula Ambiente as part of the 15-year Atersir contract for municipal waste management in the province of Ravenna and the municipalities of the Cesena area.

“The via Magnani headquarters will consolidate and make our service in the territory more organized – highlighted Chief Executive Officer Cesare Bagnari -. The award of the Atersir contract for Ravenna and Cesena, in terms of volumes and duration, has enabled us to establish adequate investments as well as initiate medium- to long-term policies, also related to the PNRR, to improve our position in terms of computerization and digitalization of waste collection services, with particular attention to separate waste collection. This headquarters belongs to Ciclat but is also at the service of other companies in the territory that carry out waste collection activities, particularly the entire world of social cooperation which, through employment integration programs, does a great deal for community development.”

The Atersir concession has a duration of 15 years and is worth a total of 1 billion and 300 million euros, employing, at full capacity, 1,200 people including workers and coordination and administrative personnel.

The inaugurated headquarters has a total area of 8,000 square meters and includes a 2,000 square meter building that will house the personnel and equipment of the 7 members of Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente operating in the province of Ravenna, for a total of 140 people and over 100 vehicles. In the outdoor area, a vehicle and truck washing facility and a mechanical workshop have been built.
