One of the most important contracts launched in the last 12 months is the one for the Municipality of Alcamo (Trapani), awarded to partner Roma Costruzioni. The contract, won last summer but officially started on February 1, 2021, includes the management of separate waste collection services, public green space maintenance, and street and beach cleaning for a total value of 38 million euros.
In the months following the award, Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente and Roma Costruzioni worked alongside the municipal administration and trade unions, in a climate of strong collaboration, to optimally organize personnel, areas, and facilities for the service, further improved compared to the tender project.
Today the service is fully operational and implemented with a state-of-the-art fleet of vehicles, Euro 6 and LPG-powered. This environmental focus, in an area of great natural value and subject to significant tourist flow, is an integral part of the entire contract organized to minimize the impact of services on the territory.
