The surveillance audits and renewals scheduled for Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente’s various certifications were all successfully completed.

“Certifications are valid for three years,” explains Lucilla Fabrizzi, from the Quality, Environment, and Safety Area. “When they expire, a renewal must be carried out. This is a very in-depth audit that takes several days to re-examine all processes. Furthermore, annual surveillance audits are also scheduled; these are checks that take fewer days but are equally necessary to verify that everything is in order.”

At the end of January, Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente underwent both the surveillance audit for the quality and environmental management system (ISO 9001-ISO 14001) and the renewal of the safety certification (ISO 45001). Both were successful: “Everything concluded with a positive outcome,” confirms Fabrizzi. “No non-conformities were detected, neither major nor minor. We received some recommendations which, with a view to continuous improvement, always represent welcome opportunities for improvement and growth.”

Then, at the end of February, it was time for the surveillance audit for the social responsibility standard, SA8000. “Everything went well here too; we are now waiting for the report. Successfully passing these steps is important in corporate management; it means that everyone is doing their part well. These audits involve not only Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente personnel but also that of the members.
