The work on behalf of Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente is carried out by the cooperative Colas Pulizie Industriali, with a doubled fleet (from 25 to 50 vehicles) following an investment of 1.5 million euros

Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente, in a temporary joint venture with Consorzio Formula Ambiente, has been awarded the tender issued by Hera S.p.A. for the management of waste collection services in the province of Rimini. A contract that started on November 1st, with a duration of 24 months and the possibility of renewal for an additional 12 months.

The work on behalf of Ciclat, as executing partner, is carried out by the Ravenna-based cooperative Colas Pulizie Locali, which has long been responsible for environmental hygiene services in Riccione and with this new assignment has registered a revenue growth of approximately 60%.

To best manage the significant increase in services, Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente and Colas Pulizie Locali have made a series of investments in vehicles and equipment. The fleet has been doubled, increasing from 25 to 50 vehicles, for a total investment of approximately 1.5 million euros, and the headquarters will also soon be relocated to a larger space.

This contract holds significant importance for Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente, both for the present and for the future. Over the next three years, the publication of the concession tender issued by Atersir (the Territorial Agency of Emilia Romagna for water and waste services) for the Province of Rimini is expected, a contract that should have a duration of 15 years.

“As has happened in other neighboring territories, the companies currently providing environmental services will also participate in the Atersir tender. The hope – explains Ermes Battistini, Head of the Central-Northern Area of Ciclat Trasporti Ambiente and technical reference for the new contract – is to secure a significant project that can finally ensure some stability and the possibility of planning investments and organizational management also in the medium to long term.”
